Arek is a graduate of the Jazz and Entertainment Music Department at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, currently based in Warsaw. 

He explores the realms of broadly defined jazz and improvised music. His jazz trio gained public and critical recognition after the release of their debut album 'Breath'. The band successfully participated in competitions such as Jazz Juniors, Blue Note Poznań Competition and especially in the 42nd International Accordion Competition "Citta di Castelfidardo" in Italy (1st place in the jazz category). 
 

Arek Czernysz is recognized as one of the most distinguished jazz accordionists in Europe, and his music has won over many musical hearts.

"(...) The music of this ensemble captivates and paints spacious soundscapes, carrying the listener beyond the boundaries of everyday life — towards a safe, intimate refuge. Entering this other world makes it easy to lose oneself in the artistry — all the more so because the pieces are extensive, yet never feel drawn out (as in the case of “Baltic Night”). And while some tracks draw their strength from expressive performance, they never become overbearing (the hypnotic accordion trance in “Waves”). There are also numerous harmonic expanses here, building a mesmerizing atmosphere without slipping into monotony.
